AAT is offering a unique 8" Gin pole adapter to allow the erection of the SCOUT 60 and 50 m towers with the use of a third party 8" Gin pole and a 4½" Booster gin pole. The 8" Gin Pole adapter is made out of a robust ¼" thick steel plate.
This installation tool is very safe and easy to use. The Ginpole Adapter is designed to be installed on AAT regular tower bases. With only four bolts, the two side panels of the adapter are quickly secured onto the tower's base. With the use of this type of Ginpole, the rest of the installation process is exactly the same as usual. Also, the Ginpole adapter can easily be fixed onto a tower base that is already installed in the field in order to safely dismantle a tower.
The 8" gin pole adapter offers the possibility to install the AAT SCOUT towers (up to 60 m) without the need of purchasing another ginpole if you already have one.
The purchase of the 8" Gin Pole Adapter does not include a Gin pole and a Booster Gin pole. The installation tools are sold separately.
