ICE-RATED SYSTEMS We began in the wind industry as users of wind assessment masts. In our opinion, there was no system designed to survive winter conditions. Out of necessity, we decided to design our own robust products to meet our expectations. With many different installations in various artic climates, AAT ice-rated systems have proven that they can resist difficult conditions and still deliver peerless operations. With wind assessment campaigns in northern Quebec, the Polar Certification criteria is tested daily by the equipment with flawless results even with satellite transmission. Our engineering team constantly works to improve the performance of our MEGA and SCOUT tilt-up tubular towers. Since we know that ice has always been very harmful for tubular towers (especially ice break on guy wires), we designed our towers in order to stand up to those specific conditions. Since we are more than confident with our tower performance in icy conditions, we are the only manufacturer to offer a limited warranty on installed towers for icing and wind loading. Therefore, you can rest assured that you can rely on our product in the harshest conditions.
